I have my prized mostly restored 1951 Douglas Rod model Vespa up for sale.

Is it together yet?

Seems VERY expensive.

I originally only put it on trade me to get someone to offer me the correct badge for it and that worked a treat!
Not together.
Might seem expensive but I have had two serious enquires about it.
Early classic Vespas have a following.

Whats so special about it? If you have to ask you would not appreciate the answer I figure...

I used to own a 92/L2. Apart from looking quite nice, they don't do much. WAY too slow to use on the road. And (no offence) that's a crazy, crazy price for an old Vespa.

Hey, can you keep your unhelpful comments to yourself? Just because it does not have that value to YOU does not mean others might not happy to pay that amount.

Other people have money and appreciate them.

And yes I am annoyed.

Clean runners are getting that type of money for the old ones. Pop it back together, you'll have a better chance of a sale.

The old Vespas are becoming quite collectable and desirable.

Ignore the dicks here Gavin, there's heaps of em, would cry if you wrote negative shite about their sales, but will do it to others like a school bully with one hand down his pants... wankers.

Go for it mate, you know what its worth so good luck with the sale, the're great bikes, been around longer than all the jap crap that these big tough biker wankers ride :motu:
