:cold: Its cold here now, so like the birds that migrate to warmer climates I am here to live yet another bike season through you all since you are about to start your summer season soon....No snow yet here , but it is close.....very very very close! Temps today -3 :cold:
Needless to say I am happy to be back here once again to hang with my favourite kiwi friends

Don't be such a pussy and get on your bike. Get a decent pair of thermals and some wet weather tyres.

It's good to hear from someone who is not so over heated about biking as I have been over the past few days. Three hours a day on the bike has been pretty tiring and summer is well on its way.
Apart from the issue of ice, I prefer riding in the cold.
Hope you get some fine days over there so you can go out and enjoy yourself.

Canada has a very important function: it reminds us, when we are shivering in December or enduring howling gales in January, that there is at least one country in the world that has worse summers than NZ...

Well, they don't call us the GREAT WHITE NORTH for nothin'. Once the snows start, I get my cardio workouts in from just shovelling....then the cold is not so cold anymore. Only when it gets to -40 in January that's when we feel it.
No one hates Canada! We are loveable people! And yes we do have dog sleds and snowmobiles
