Closest track to Wellington?

Being a bit of a foreigner - been here for five years but still have the odd question - where is the closest track to wellington?

I'm really interested in doing a track day (possibly a tutored session) but nearest one I know of is near Taupo. Surely there must be a track closer to wellington.

Manfeild in Feilding is closest to Wgtn and next track day is Dec07. See thread for details. Bike track days are few andfar between at Manfeild so take them when they are available
