Amsoil is based in New Lynn, Ph. 09 8278442. I used to use it, then it priced itself out of reach.

'Amsoil' is a brand of yankee made oil, like Klotz or Penzoil or Vulvoline etc .. . they do a 0W30 thin oil for reducing clutch drag in certain scoots, like my GasGas Pampera .. . thanks for the phone number 'Lou'.

You haven't fallen for their advertising blurb have you Diesel? Do a google on oil and all you get is pages and pages of Amsoil - how the hell did they do that?
Seriously all my reshearch shows it truly is a good oil - they use Mobil 1 as a base and add from there - their other oils I dunno....anyway,you be our test donkey - how come a new Pampered has clutch drag?

The clutch on the Pamp is pretty OK, but when ya riding the thing 'trialsey' there are lotsa times ya declutch at/near idle revs & dont want it stalling due to ANY more clutch drag than can be avoided . .. . . if ya DO stall its good to have minimal drag for restarting or so it'll roll, or etc etc etc . . .I put ATF in & that made quite a difference .. . then via the Yahoo Pampera List I found out about a yankee oil-fetishist who had tested EVERY bloody oil he could find, for clutch noise & drag . .. .

. .. . .the ATF was second to best, & outright champeen low-drag oil was an AmsOil full synthetic 0W40 (yep, zero W 40), so I wanna get some to try just out of curiousity . .. . phoned the importer today & there's a US Quart on its way to me now even as we speak!

In your wallet!
0-40w is $23 a quart, (slightly less than a litre).
I wish my dad was an Amsoil distributor!
Sure your clutch feels lighter, but if you have an air cooled 4stroker it will sound far rattlier.
