Condition of the Crown Range?

We're going over the Crown Range today from the Queenstown side. Any word on road conditions? (Two up, heaps of gear so just a bit less manoueverable than usual).

Mutley and I did it last weekend.

Road is good condition. Small amounts of grit near the summit on the Wanaka side, but easily seen and avoided.

The hairpins near the start are always more fun from the Qtown side, but can be challenging when two-up.

As always, watch for campervans and rental cars - they can be unpredictable.
