Rego question?

Hi all,

I heard that you can put rego on hold for up to 5 years, is this right?
After this time I take it you have to pay registration fees, but how long for and when can you put the rego on hold again?
Also, do you need to wof the vehicle in order to get rego? Can you do it online?

AFAIK, you can put the rego on hold for as long as you want, but for 12 months at a time.

There is a minimum of three months.

If you then want the vehicle back on the road, you need to have a WOF first.

And yes, you can do it online.
