Hey

How do you guys rate the bikepark at Woodhill now days?

Its been years since Ive been back out there, last time was 10 years ago when it was at the old place near the beach access point when sometimes there was no one to collect payment and the tracks were really knarly and un-maintained.

Im glad to see they have got their shit together and got a good sponsored park going but I have not explored all the trails yet.

How do you guys rate it for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders? Is it all its cracked up to be? Good easy tracks for less experienced riders?

One thing I did not like with the old park was how sometimes you would be going along a track then, either you get some smart ass dickhead coming the other way OR you get these young hoons scream past you on their 2 stroke wasps. Are the tracks well maintained and wide now for varying levels of riders?

It's amazing. I'm out there nearly every weekend. Have been riding the place for years and am still finding new tracks.

Tracks are very well maintained, couldnt be more beginner friendly. Tracks to suit everyone.

Safe place to ride to.

So overall you rate it a good 9/10? or Even 10/10?

What are the tracks like? Easy to ride and find your way back home? Signposted? That was one of the pitfalls of the old park, getting lost.

I haven't ridden many places at all - mainly just the Sandpit (i'm a noobi).

Tracks are well marked & easy to find home.

9-10 outa 10 mate!

They are groomed Monday Tues so go Wednesday and tracks will be smooth and groomed go Sunday afternoon and you'll get heaps of whoops! In the rain, harder packed and easier, in the dry soft sand and deep on the main trails.
Some great blue trails through the forest much better than the main trails even if you are a learner.

I used to hate sand and whoops! Now I go Sunday so I can ride the red trails and main trial whoops by choice!! LOL!!! Its a place you will grow to like!

Cool guys, hope to see some of you out there when I get my bike!

Hey what are the yellow tracks like?

The only riding I used to like doing back at the old park as long open stretches on the beach, but now we can do that anymore.....

It's an awesome place to ride, 20 out of 10! The tracks are awesome. It is good to go on a Wednesday with the groomed tracks! Great learners tracks! People are really friendly, great atmosphere! There's even hire bikes! There's a group of us that go on a Wednesday, look forward to seeing you out there!

NA mate work and renovations! I've put biking ahead of them both for a few years so "her in doors" has quite rightfully put her foot down! She's making Noises about letting me have another VTR1000 or 954RR road bike (all I can afford, want a 675 Daytona) so I'm keeping my head down and arse up so it all hopefully falls into place concerning biking after xmas! There's no talk of selling the bikes to pay for the reno's either so all good!! I miss it like crazy and I'm getting fatter and unfit! LOL!!!

I'll be back! Those Paeroa ride vids made me really jealous that Zen K6K and the crew went on!!!

Hey LR - if you havent been to the bike park for that long, you'll notice huge changes. We only used to ride when there was no where else to go - now its miles ahead of anything else - cheap - great tracks - groomed and plenty to chose from. Good riding out there - you'll have a ball.

Awesome guys, you will DEF see me there when I get my bike sorted etc...

Ill let you know and try meet up with some of yous!!!

Anyhow, another thing was re admission prices. Is it worth taking a annual type pass or if Im going each week or every 2nd, is it cheaper just getting a pass each time?
