I've got a MINT '73 GT750 Water bottle.
$6000. Might be more than your mate wants to pay though.

I'd also be keen on getting a GT380, GT550 or water bucket in going order.

I used to have a T500 and a GT500, and finding parts is harder than licking your own nads. Even though they are well reliable, once the shit hits the fan, you're f#!ked. Be very aware of such things before going old school smoker.

I had a new GT500A but that was a long time ago I remember the 380GT that had a neon gear position indicator so you knew what gear you were in I guess the 750 had it too? it was a much critsised feature at the time but I rekon that this feature for a morotcycle is much underestimated how many times I have searched for another higher gear only to find I have exhausted the Box and feel foolish for the search. This feature has got to return as a standard. The GT500A was such a scream of a bike apart from a heap of play in the swinging arm bushes that made it wobble like a pig on ice. the 380GT was a much more sorted bike and the 250GT With ram air was a great bike the ram air system used a funnel bolt on to the head that directed cold air to the carbs it was utter bullshit but sounded like a logical advancement.
all these wonderfull machines had a CDI and two stroke oil metering pump and were a benchmark in motorcycling history. Suzuki have produced some awesome bikeS :niceone: and the GT series put some huge smile on the dials

Jantar - I know someone with about 5 or 6 waterbuses in various states of repair in his gargre. He may or may not be willing to sell some/all/whatever - give me a pm if you're interested.
I liked the way they had four mufflers on a three-cylinder.
And ram-air, yeah, cool man......
