I would be sending the submissions in even after the close off date, and keep sending them in till we get what we want

Do bear in mind, that is closing date for submissions on the ACC amendment bill. Which is nothing to do with our levies. Submissions on those closed yesterday

Perhaps the title needs to be changed. This is for Select Committee NOT the ACC's token csubmission process

Am putting my submission in tonight, but I reckon we really need to raise the profile of this process...
... Since ACC are claiming only 2500 (circa) submissions on their 'high profile' proposal, there is a need to really drive for submissions to the, possibly more significant, Select Committee process.
All YOU need to do is....:
...Cut and Paste your ACC submission into a document and upload at the link above....
...30 secs... DONE!

The closing date for submissions to the ACC levy rort is this week, THURSDAY 26th Novemebr. Numbers are important, so take a few minutes to visit
http://www.greens.org.nz/factsheets/submission-guide-injury-prevention-rehabilitation-and-compensation-amendment-bill
where you will find a fulll guide and a 'how to' for a submission. It won't tske long, and can help keep the pressure on.

Busy with mine. I hope LOTS of people have made submissions on this one too - it's really important, and I think people could be confusing it with the levies submissions.

BRONZ submission submissioned.
Note this was in some part based on the sentiments of the poll I posted up, not all of which are necessarily the opinions of the author (though there was nothing major)

I also put in a submission. A very short one that didn't address any specific clause but suggested a total philosophy change to bring ACC back to meet the woodhouse principles.

Submission made!
Umm, I hope that after midnight counts as in by the due date :/
It's hard writing a submission when you're sick. I wouldn't have left it so late but I actually thought I'd missed it already!
I ticked the "I wish to appear" thing because the things said I should, but I really don't want to... I'm better with writing than convincing face to face :blank:

Oh that should be OK, just submitted mine - 3 pages. As long as you got the reference number it means it's in the system. I hope the committee actually reads them and takes them to heart, it took me a while!

I uploaded a PDF of my 3 page submission with some comments to the committee staff requesting an Auckland appearnce. I've just had an email through supposedly with a copy of my submission attached that only has a copy of my comments re Auckland. The email address is a DO NOT REPLY type.
Has anyone else had this experience? I am concerned that they have not actually received the document.
Maybe I should just resubmit it, just in case...
EDIT: I just resubmunted my PDF and told them what I had done in my comments, so hopefully they won't throw it away.

Hi I, in my infinite non-wisdom didn't realise there were 2 separate submissions we could make, I only submitted on the ACC one that closed on 10th November, I rallied around the office and got five submissions from other bikers, we posted it on Friday morning the 6th Nov and all got a letter from ACC yesterday (4th Dec) saying our submissions arrived late - over 5 days to get from Dunedin to Wellington. Is there any use trying to get our late submissions accepted at this stage?? Thoroughly brassed off at missing both close off dates. Or is it worth trying to get a late submission to the Government?

g our submissions arrived late - over 5 days to get from Dunedin to Wellington.
You think that's bad?
I received a letter from Nick Smith (addressed from Wellington) yesterday (5th Dec) which was dated 20th November.
Either NZ Post now takes 15 days from Wellington to Kapiti, or Nicks Myth is so bad with numbers, he can't even date a letter correctly!

Either NZ Post mumble, mumble, mumble...or Nicks Myth is so bad with numbers, he can't even date a letter correctly!
Yeah, I go with the last part of your post, I could not hear the first bit so clearly!
"...We're all doomed!"
NO we are not!
