My wife has picked up a new kitten (as if we did not have enough)....now she isd reading thru a cat names book...but I think that "BALDRICK" is a good name....considering he is a troublemaker of a silly cat which probably suffers from CADHD....I need support cos she aint havin a bar of it...

Almost as bad as calling for "Sex" before bedtime....

One name she (Janiebella) suggested though was better than the rest...Hendrix....I could almost live with that

I used to call the kids home at dinner time with "JELLYMEAT FOR DINNER"

The kids we got our two kittens from had already been named one 'monty' so that stayed, the other they called 'mischief' but we changed it to 'hena' which is maori for grey as she is a grey and white cat.

But those kids had her sussed out as she defenitly is a mischeivous cat.
So.

Call it Gandalf the Grey... with big ears,.. or Yoda, but he's green. Dont have good judgement as our cat is Coco, surname is Nut.

Our family cat was called Grandad cos Grandad didn't like the name we called our dog. He was chuffed to bits about the cat name tho! He said, "Mostly Black is a silly name for a dog!" Grandad turned out to be a female and had to be speyed.

My eldest cat is called elvis a) cause he likes to sing and b) cause I thought it'd be funny to say elvis is alive and well and living in my garden.

Cats are bastards, pissing on my stuff in my garage, clawing through my rubbish bags, making heaps of noise when the neighours don't feed them..

Hence, any cat I don't know, gets shot at, or a hammer thrown at it.

One of ours is called Amadeus. But I must say I do like the suggestions Eeyore and Gandalf!

Being fluffy and grey you could always go with DustBunny....

Had a brainwave going out the back door this morning....kitten was right behind me and wanted to go outside....Thought he would be a Scooby Snack if he went outside....we got 2 dogs here that live outside

So, his name is Scooby Snack, or just Scooby for short....

As a kid we had a dog called Sylvester, now we have a cat with a dogs name!!!

Same here!

Cats should have proper cat names, like Arselicker, and Turner (turns perfectly good food into smelly shit), and LazySkivingFleaBag, and Will-Be-Furry-Slippers-When-Fat-Enough, and They-Feed-Me-And-I-Reward-Them-By-Pissing-On-Their-Stuff-And-Clawing-Their-Legs ....

Call it Hone Harawera.
Quite similar to a cat...

Lazy, sits around sunning itself, egotistical, narcissistic, hungry and always wanting more.

I had some friends who called their black cat "Titty"
It was short for Titewhai Harawira. The cat was a bitch of a thing

I like Eeyore! If it is grey with big ears what about Dumbo, Gandolf or Dumbledore?

Knew someone who had a cat called Remik. When she called it it was "Here "emik, here Remik" (Say it out loud)

Back in the day I had a mate whose cat was called 'fuckoff'.

Crackup watching him lay out the food and calling "fuckoff, fuckoff" and up comes this hungry tabby.

Dunno what happened to it, maybe it finally clicked.

When I was a kid we had a grey cat called Bruce. Nice strong name for a male cat. You can imagine the delight my Mother had when Bruce delivered up a litter of kittens in my brothers pram while he was sleeping in it :D

Bruce kept her name though.

Bruce, call the cat Bruce.
