Hey Gang!

Fargo, North Dakota, USA checking in.

Having toured Europe and the USA, it's now time to focus on the one frontier that I'd love to ride. Having heard tons of good things about NZ, checked out websites, photos and some videos, it really appears like it's heaven on earth for bikers.

Lay it on me - how cool is it really?

Hello Mike - welcome to the site. I just want to stick my hand up and say ' dont forget to ride the Coromandel Loop' it can be a little crazy in the summer holidays with Americans in rented camper RVs driving on the Right hand side - but so long a you are alert it is not to be missed.

Well, it's probably about 16C at the moment, and you could be forgiven for thinking we're going back into Winter (ahd some serious snowfalls in the last few weeks too). It's that global warming thing. y'know.
So yeah, it's like, pretty cool.

Snowfalls. Huh?

You must be on a diffrent Norfshaw to me.

It's bright and sunny here and great biking weather.

Welcome FargAT. So long as you remember that we ride on the correct side of the road, you'll be fine.

Not even, au!
I was talking about Noo Zilund in general, not just NorfShaw. After all, the whole country's just a couple of smallish islands that could easily fit into a corner of Texas or Alaska or wherever. But even so, it's not Eggs Zachary tropical or even subtropical here lately, is it? (One or two warmish patches notwithstanding...)

Gidday FargAT,

- think of Colorado X 100 = South Island - you'll love it.

I've done three months in the US on 2 wheels, so I can tell you straight - you will not be disappointed.

Come on over; keep in touch. Another mighty ride is from Taranaki (North Island - the bit that sticks out to the west ) thru The Forgotten World Highway toward Taupo (Look for the lake in the cenre of the North Island).

I live nearby, give us a holler.

Cheers
