Today Hawke's Bay had approx 220 bikes.

OK so that makes:

Hawke's Bay: 220 (I am sticking with my estimate!)
Dunedin: 576
Auckland: 550 (ManDownUnder said 330?)
Christchurch: 400
Waikato: 500
Tauranga: 1100 (Bloody hell!! You guys rock!)
Taranaki: 350
Timaru: 400
Nelson: 500
Wellington: 500

Total currently: 5,096

Good stuff and Mom got in the press too

Gonna be a few 'well known' KBers when the dust finally settles, lets start our own Political Party and ensure Bikers never get screwed over ever again

If Maori (stated respectfully here please dont read into this) can organize to have their own party, so can we surely?

Good amount of publicity for a relatively small number of attendees (hell, the HA run in a couple of weeks will dwarf that number fairly comfortably).

Even now that I'm living in AKL I struggle to understand why we can't make full use of our demographic weight. I suspect it's down to the fact the we are more a collection of towns rather than a homogenous city.

Anyways.......maybe we should run a sweepstakes for the number of bikes that actually show up in Wgtn on Tuesday?

My guess is 2627

There has already been rides in other regions too. Any idea what the numbers have been?

Taranaki did us proud, no definitive figure but circa 300-350 would be my guess.certainly enough to turn heads.

Wow.
I saw a video on youtube of a recent Tauranga protest ride, and it looked real good.

They are putting Auckland to shame a bit...

Thanks. Have been added to first post.

And perhaps National/ACC are doing something nobody else has managed to:
"Even gang members from the Road Knights and Devils Henchmen put their differences aside to support the protest ride"

And I take that there was 500 bikes in Nelson? http://www.stuff.co.nz/nelson-mail/opinion/editorial/3002969/Editorial-ACC-levy-anger-won-t-fade-away

About 500 at the Wellington (Ulysses) run a couple of weeks ago.

Tuesdays goings to be interesting, to say the least.
