15th November 2009, 10:04
As promised a few months back, Kanny n tri boy are having a wee get together, and as we are located in Tainui country, the event will be known as "Kanny n Tri boys Dec Hui"
A calender thread will be set up, but basically if you who wish to attend a Pakeha Hui will need to registar on the calender thread, then I will PM you address details etc.
Nth Sth and East/West tribes and representatives are required to visit, otherwise triboy iwi can claim your women and land.(not the fat ugly ones either).
Heaps of space, BBQ, Beer,Camping,Some internal sleeping arrangements that will be allocated after "Koha" is promised.
Travel by gravel, seal, Moa, I couldn't care less.
Stay overnight, quick visit, start a sit in. Still don't care. Just don't steal my slice of cake, (yes, there will be cake)!
Riders and non riders welcome, and another Scrabble game is to be played to see who can join up the most outrageous words. Kanny is the ref again.
Time trails are to be arranged on the Skyteam 200 chinky bike, in the paddock, and hopefully the bonfire will get lit, as there is a big pile of prunnings and branches to be torched.
Lawn Badminton, Croquet, Swing Ball champs are also on the cards, as is possibly a kiwi round of "Fist of Zen". All these events require inibriated participants otherwise it will be silly fools looking like dorks.

Please post suitable rude replies, and intentions of attending.

But warriors are known to ambush, send your weakest ahead first as cannon fodder.

Pic3.
Your official welcoming onto the Marae starts here. You may be challenged. (depends on kanny's stress levels)

Pic4.
Once on the Marae, you can settle in and enjoy. Bring your happy face:D

Rock up Sunday if you like. I'm sure people will be either getting ready to do a ride somewhere, or some will want to just hang out.
I won't be joining/meeting riders like on the previous rides, you lot are big enough, and definitely ugly enough to get here by yourselves. Failing that Crisis can get you lost out the back of Naike I'm sure.
Dec is a shitty time, but my mum couldn't keep me inside her until after xmas, so she dropped me out just before xmas. (yeah, its my B/day w/end too).
Treat the Hui as the meeting point for your last ride before Santa does a "break n enter" at your digs.

Well there is no show without punch, so Leanne and I will be there for sure (Fleetwood Mac are playing that weekend here in the Naki and I am meant to be having visitors from welli, but since I suggested that he could sell his two spare tickets to Leanne and I for half price I haven't heard anything back - so f@#k him!!). Was that too blunt?

As we are of course Te Atiawa descendants (well I was born in the Naki) I am sure that we will be welcomed into Tainui country, we can assist that process with the Captain (not Cook the thieving bastard) but Morgan - that fine spirit from the Caribbean!!

:-)

Mike and Leanne

(We might have to drive up and not ride up but we will be there!)

you can have Kapiti - just don't take the Mungatooks....

I am commencing the initial phases of domestic maneuvering (I voluntarily smiled at 'shmbo' this morning) - but it is far from a certain outcome (the 'cost' of each ride seems to escalate....)

I have a score to settle with you over certain drunken abusive messages left on my phone so I will do my best

It's not a rally/event/or even a ride out. Just friends/family etc getting together to laugh and socialise.
Those riding to it from out of town are doing the rides.
Most of us ride zimmer frames, we're that old. You'll be bored in five minutes.

pull the catheter out of the bag and stuff the end up your bum

you will then have the worlds only 640a with closed loop injection

try and avoid farting while using this configuration - you could rupture your wiener

The mind boggles.
Actually another possible consequence of farting with this configeration might be inflating your bollox and increasing your ground clearance, but at the cost of raising your centre of gravity.
Not sure about the effect on ride comfort tho'

I'm not a huge cake eater, but can scoff down most types, so please add suggestions.

Kanny's lists seem to include alot of manual labour:crazy:
But besides that, things are falling into place. I did a practice run on the BBQ yesterday just to make sure I can turn sausages while drinking a beer still. I think I need more practice before the gig:yes:
Remember there is a heap of room, tents are welcome, mattresses available, but the spare room hasn't been allocated yet. I'll let kanny sort that, so if your not tenting it, just bring a sleeping bag as there are pillows/sheets/blankets here.
Cake looks like it will be a choc one, and dessert is still being sorted.

Oooh, aaah, yes, umm, sorry about that...he was delayed...customs...I think..they took one look at him and because he didn't have a passport and looked filthy and dishevelled and somewhat hungover (too many Belgian beers!), they would keep him for a while....plus, I think he missed his connecting flight from Frankfurt...probably chasing bear...or beer...
He loved Belgium, but alas, few piccies....this is a family site, after all!
