how do the cbr's stand up with high millage? just in general. do they explode when they hit 200k or just...keep on going (provided their looked after)

it will depend a 250 with 80ks isnt the same as a 1000 with 80ks

The CBR250s are known to do over 100,000km before they start losing compression as long as they have been looked after properly. The bigger engines should last a lot longer.

my 98 CBR600 had done about 80000 when I sold her. Only problem was second gear needed replacing but thats just due to previous owners shinanigans. Saw it on tarde a couple months back, been round the clock and then some and still seemed to be ticking over
