This may be a really stupid question but here goes it....

I wanted to get better knee armour for my cordura pants as the armour in them atm doesnt seem like it will really do much. Ive heard talk about buying armour to slip in the pocket but can't find any anywhere.

Any ideas?

The armour is to reduce the shock of impact with the tarmac ... not prevent damage. A hard armour merely transfers the shock to the body. Besides ... too thick an armour makes your bum look bigger ...

google Dainese armour - I have knee armour that straps on (like mx) and is worn underneath my jeans, also have padded shorts worn under jeans -more for summer as too hot for leathers.

Still no substitute for armoured leathers :niceone:

If this is for road use then I'd try and buy a purpose designed garment where everything has been tested toegther.

Making garments to protect your body is a science, and its difficult to guess the impacts of changing the design of your current protection with adhoc changes.

Flick me a PM. I have the knee armour out of my old pants around here somewhere, the pants leak like a seive so I cant in all conscious pass them on to any one, but the knee armour is all good. It is yours if you want it
