There will be at least one motorcycle on the steps of parliament tomorrow.

Spoke to Rick Barker this morning. He's doing the ride in from The Bay and will use Parliamentary privilege to park his Rocket III prominently.

'Yes Big Dave - I 'll be taking it easy too. I'll be travelling slower than a sprung hub on a gravel road.' Rickspec.

Phil Goff will be traveling by car, but will also definitely address the gathering. We (KR crew) spoke to him and MP Phil Twyford at Coleman's this morning.

I'll have some quotes soon as I transcribe them.

Phil Goff is a massive speaker, yeah yeah its his job I know but, to listen to him address a large group was pretty cool, Nick smith would surely fail at this?

Rocket III on the steps of Parliament - that's just asking for a protest burn-out.

A coupe of donuts on their nice lino floor would be cool too. That wont buff out in a hurry.

Trouble is there are political undertones and overtones rippling throughout this whole ACC debacle!

Then again the whole bike scene is liable to implode/explode in disarray at any given time.

You only have to read KB threads and posts to feel the tension and lack of unity being expressed and exposed.

Motorcycling is by it's basic nature a loose collection of individualists whose very strength may be it's biggest weakness!

Yes, we probably are a very easy target!

Annette Kings husband might have his KLR there as well - as at the Ulysses gathering.

I have it on good authority at least 4 bikes are gonna be on stafe...300 or so out front and opposite ...and 3000 or so on Fran Wilde walkway

THAT will make an impressive shot!

No, not really brainwashed from my point of view, just a little afraid that a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link and I see a few suspect links!

Maybe I am a bit too far away from the action centres to feel more confidant than I do just now!

I certainly felt good after attending the protest ride at Timaru!

Nah, got other gigs - but James Duece is our trusted operative on the scene. It will be well covered.

Rick will give us a yarn too.

I suppose you can just appoint yourself. I thought there would at least be a committee.
