Dear Mr Hone Harawira

I would like to thank you for clarifying your view of European people and their impact on the lives of Maori within New Zealand.
As one of the white "Motherf**ers" you referred to in a recently released email, I would like to point out a couple of things, and ask a couple of questions

· my grandparents immigrated from Holland, Italy and Greece to settle in NZ. Neither country has had any treaty now or in the past with Maori, nor has either country directly initiated, participated in or perpetuated any attack on Maori.

· Have you, or your direct whanau ever had a job that WAS'NT funded by tax payers either directly through the government or its agencies?
· Are you aware that 50% of tax in NZ is paid for by only 11% of the population? And that of this 11% of top payers 98.2% ARE NOT MAORI? They are predominantly the white "Motherf**kers"� you seem to despise
· Are you aware that the life expectancy of Maori in NZ has more then doubled during the 170 odd years of colonisation?
· Are you aware that had the White "Motherf**s" not come here, you would probably be dead by now

I am acutely aware that there is nothing I can say or present to you that will change your narrow, racist, hateful mind, so I won't waste my time or yours trying.

What I will say, is that I no longer wish to provide any tax to support the Maori of NZ. As this support is not appreciated I will be happy to let you fend for yourselves. I will also support returning all land and resources to Maori where clear confiscation by white "Motherf**kers"� can be demonstrated through the courts. However it is only fair to ask that the cost of development of these lands and resources be deducted from any payout

I fully endorse Maori determining their own future, provided they take on board all the associated costs.

As a white "Motherf**kers� I would like to charge Maori for my part in funding the cost of:
· housing the current Maori prison population
· providing social welfare to Maori as well as funding the enormous cost of family violence which is mostly perpetrated by Maori against Maori
· providing western developed health care to Maori

· holding iwi, hikoi, blessings, curses, removing taniwha, retrieving heads and all the other mysticism that white "Motherf**kers"� currently fund

Having done some quick calculations I believe that the Maori of New Zealand currently owe me and my wife $74,529.46 for the last 10 years.

That's exactly the kind of reverse racism he expects to receive and will point out to anybody within earshot — he'd be rubbing his prejudiced hands together. The way to change Harawira and his ilk, is to embrace and be proud of the positive in Maori culture. By all means, demonize the culture of "the world owes me something for nothing, and all my problems are someone else's fault," but recognise that that culture exists not only in sick parts of Maoridom but very much also in middle NZ, across many ethnicities.

I understand your outrage over Harawira's now infamous email, and yes, Maori receive a lot more help and support from the NZ tax payer, and yes, in any other country in the world he would have been out on his ass so fast it wasn't funny, so your points do resound — but do you really want to play his divisive little game?
Me, I'd rather not.

If you really want to piss off Harawira, ignore him.

5. Do not bother to use Radios, TV's, or refrigerators, or travel in
motor cars, or listen to your IPOD any longer - all of which are invented

certainly do not bother to visit iconic white landmarks such as those
found in Paris of all places where you skived off work to take your

Raping and Pillaging NZ, about the 29 species of birds and other wild life that

Have a look across the Tasman at how much better Maori have prospered
where they do not have all the benefits, and the mentality of standing
there expecting everybody else to support them. Look at how much
healthier they are, how many of them own their homes, and
businesses, and check their average income level. Just like the Maori here, they
were born with two arms and two legs and just as much opportunity as anybody
else.

Role models and leaders like you who preach hatred and blame, instead of
inspiration and aspiration, are certain to ensure that Maori remain at
the bottom of the heap for some time to come in this country, as they
have done, and as they are now.

Mr Harawira, no one forced your people to smoke themselves to death. No
one prized their mouth open and poured alcohol down their throats to an
abusive extent. No one made them eat fast foods at three times the rate
of the rest of the population. No one told your kids to wag school and
for the parents to turn a blind eye. No one dragged them into a gang. No
one forced them to take drugs. No one said it was acceptable to close
ranks and cover up domestic beatings and murders - all statistics that
Maori are undoubtedly leading the field in. The reason these things
happen is because of poor parenting, lack of personal responsibility and
a belief that there is no hope and the white man is to blame due to
bull**** propaganda from the likes of yourself. You carry on Mr
Harawira. The likes of you and Mr Willie Jackson have worked miracles so
far haven't you - just look at all the negative statistics that your fine work
and propaganda and stirring is creating.

And last but not least. Do not ever expect 'your people' to get the respect of the
majority of the white population in this country, when per head of
population you get more spent on you, have more groups, committees, sub
committees, trusts and organisations, all filtering money from the raping
pillaging taxpaying white man to help your race move forward. 'Your people'
continue to lead this country in murders, violent crime, theft, sex offences, child
abuse, unemployment, ill health, and we, the white
Mother****ers you despise have to keep picking up the repair bill.

Next time you want to point the finger at the raping pillaging white

Email from the Human Rights Commission:

"Thank you for contacting the Commission about the email sent by Hone Harawira containing racially offensive comments about white people in New Zealand.

The Commission has received over 700 calls, emails and other contacts from concerned New Zealanders. This is the highest number the Commission has received about any single race relations issue.

The Race Relations Commissioner has made it clear that effective action is required by both Hone Harawira and the Maori Party and that Hone Harawira’s apology of 4 November did not resolve the matter.

While the Human Rights Act does not provide the Commission with legal sanctions for the use of such racially offensive language, the Race Relations Commissioner can and does advocate for an effective response to public concern and can offer mediation and advice. In the first instance the Race Relations Commissioner’s expectation is that the person themselves, and the organisation of which they are a part, will take action.

The Maori Party is now taking action on the issue and it is appropriate to await the outcome of that process.

The high number of complaints and expressions of concern strengthens the Race Relations Commissioner’s hand in calling for effective action by them.

Thank you again for your communication. It is appreciated and be assured that it will be taken into account in the Commission’s ongoing response to the issue.

I'm pretty sure when immigrants sign up to become citizens they have to acknowledge that the maori aren't immigrants and that they're the rightful owners of NZ. Something like that anyway..

When you refer to 'Maori' throughout your letter, are you suggesting that I support Hone Harawira's views & opinions.

Are you suggesting I also support the view's of his direct family?

Are you suggesting I give him my permission to speak on my behalf and the behalf of my children?

When you refer to 'Maori' are you suggesting I sit on my arse all day and have someone else support all my financial needs and the financial needs of my children?

Are you suggesting that I have been through the Prison System?

That's a bit harsh. I am part maori and while I agree with the intent of your letter, I wouldn't suggest for a minute that that part of my family is "on the bottom of any heap". You're right - but I guess you've got to point some blame at the people who provide such "perks". Slightly off topic I know but Rodney Hide just got righfully slammed for taking his missus overseas - but at the end of the day there is a policy (aka perk) in place that allows this. Perhaps there should be a review of the perks/entitlements rather than those that use them.

I would vote for a European Party. Then when we win a seat(s) in Parliament, get all racially based parties disbanded so we have equality in government. The go on as all of us being "New Zealanders", not white, brown, yellow etc.... and all the arguments (claims) over land etc... would have to stop.... hopefully.
