I have some part time work available in Wellington City. Approx 30 hours per week. From now until Christmas. Immediate start.

What I am looking for is someone to
1) Cut carpet & vinyl for my installation teams
2) Help with all of my inwards/outwards goods stock control
3) Keep my showroom & warehouse clean & tidy

You need to be physically fit, mathematically accurate, able to drive a walk behind fork hoist and have basic keyboard skills.
The hours can be somewhat flexible.
Bull (here on KB) has worked for me part time over the last 6 months but has now got himself full time employment so I am looking for someone to fill his shoes.

PM me in the first instance if you want to discuss this further.

Wow! I thought with Uni finishing & the so called recession I would have had a few replies or PM's.
Obviously the rest Wellington is rocking as well.

Shameless Bump eh!

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to do a nice varied job, work with a fantastic group of staff and to talk bikes and shit with Mal every break you get. I had a fantastic time working with Mal and if I didnt score a fulltime role id be back in like Flynn.

Someone take the job!

Fucken piece of piss. A walk behind is not like a full on fork truck, more an electric hand-cart you wander along behind that can be steered and will lift up to about 500kg-1000kg.

If you can ride a bike you'll pick it up in no time.

Why would you pick it up? I thought you just walked behind it?

They are quite easy to operate but the thing is the loads we handle are hanging off the front by up to 4 metres and turning these with this sort of load sticking out the front can be interesting in a tight space.
I will mention that there is some heavy lifting involved too. Some things like carpet underlay & rolls of vinyl can weight up to 80kg and need to be handled to get them to the lifting equipment.
