Maintenance Course
5pm, Saturday 21 November, held at ENZA in Stoke
runs for approx 2.5hours.
The idea is to cover basic maintenance with you working on your own bike under supervision while learning. The focus is on safety and learning how the bike should be set up and what to look out for which will save money.
We cover setting the bike up for comfort and performance eg: throttle adjustment etc, tyres, chain tension and adjustment if required, fluids such as changing oil and brake fluid, cleaning etc.
For example, learning how to do an oil and filter change the way a professional would do it will not only save the labour cost at a dealership, but will also teach the skills that you can take to each bike you may own in the future.
Learning this information does not replace the need to take your bike to a dealer for servicing, but will help you become more informed, and be able to save money by doing some work yourself, and that is often not covered by dealers in a service anyway.
The investment for this course is $50.00 and can be prepaid by internet banking, or in cash/cheque on the night of the course.
Please let us know if you would like to book for this course as there are limited places available. Please also advise the bike you will be bringing, and if there are any particular things to do on the bike such as changing oil and/or brake fluid. We will need to advise you what oil etc to bring for that particular bike.
Please also bring old and warm clothes to wear, rags and any tools that fit the bike.
Numbers limited!
To book: please phone Andrew or Lynne
