Don't ring St Johns, cause it wasn't them doing the collecting. Ring Wellington Free Ambulance.

After that little effort you may need to send them to Hitcher's place.

With a defibrillator

Hey now settle down, Missus StoneY was at the stadium.....

She utterly loved one of the big clubs comin in, all the german hats and stuff, and they meekly went where she pointed with a friendly wave and a smile
Niceone boys

I dropped a tenner in the bucket via Missus StoneY, I hear a few dropped in notes as opposed to gold

I called Lizzy from Wellington Free Ambulance today, she is the Fundrasing Co-Ordinator, she is still in the process of counting up and will confirm with me on Monday as to how much was rasied. Wellington Free indicated that they were really blown away by how much people were given and well everyone treated them.

Will repost once figures known:woohoo:

Team well done and thank you to those that donated :)

Well, some idiots like me forgot about the gold coin donation:Oops:, so found their website instead. They have a comment section before processing, so you can add that you're a forgetful "Bikeoi" rider if you so please.

Add $10 to that total figure please!:msn-wink:

I hope that when the total amount is finally calculated,
That there is a small ceromony which the Press and TV are invited too.
This single thing could pull heaps more good press for the event.
Having a large donation, on top of an awsome event and because of it, is another positive towards getting continued public support.
When ever in the past, has any demonstration to parliment also been a charity ride for a public free service?
Is this another first?
Or has some other protests to parliment done the same.
The larger the amount, the more positive rep we get from Joe Public

I only had a $20 note. Would've felt a bit guilty if I didn't drop something in so in it went. However I figured 70mpg all the way from Auckland->Wellington->Auckland meant I could afford such a luxurious donation (at least as far as Honda owners are concerned) ;)
