You can brush most of it if it's dry, then wipe it off with a cloth with warm soapy water, but you'll need to kill the mould spores that are now there. Bleach will do that, but it may mark the lining, so check a small bit first. There are other mould-killers, but bleach is effective and cheap.

Make sure your jacket is completely dry before hanging it up. Mould likes damp. If you can get a wardrobe heater it will help. I've got one that's basically a metal box with vents, and a small heating element (40 or 60W).

Try Dettol

(or Savlon ot Jayes or pretty much any disinfectant)

But I would not use chlorine bleach on leather - iits too harsh and damages the leather.

You can wipe your jacket with a paper towel soaked in it

But that only really gets the surface.

If its really bad you will need to soak it for a day or two - make sure it gets the leather really wet right through

Take it to the dry cleaner - you are better to pay a professional than ruin it yourself

Dilute vinegar and water works well for killing mould.
Once The jacket has been cleaned off with warm soapy water.
Give it a wipe with the vinegar and water.
Then let it air dry, but not in direct sunlight....

Yes - most dry cleaners will do a better job of ruining a jacket than you can do yourself. Some of their chemicals are really really nasty to leather

This one you can do yourself - and end up with a better result.
