What do you REALLY think of… Qmoto

Bret and Paula really care about your ass and want to know what you think about Motorcycle gear and in particular Qmoto gear.
If you have never tried Qmoto or Quasimoto gear before check out this website first www.qmoto.co.nz and have, your chance to tell Qmoto what you want from motorcycle gear. Just to show how much he values your opinion he’s giving away a pair of QMOTO KNOX SPS Racing gloves to one lucky person who fills out this survey.

Qmoto is all about being honest and upfront, with that in mind I must inform you that this research is being conducted by the University of Waikato as part of a student research paper on behalf of Quasimoto Motorcycle Accessories LTD.
1. All information provided in this survey is confidential and no outside parties (exclusive use of Qmoto, myself and my university correspondent for marking purposes) will be privy to the information you provide, questionnaires will be destroyed upon conclusion of the research.
2. You do not have to answer all the questions should you feel they do not apply to you, (for example questions specific to competitive sports motorcyclists).
Last but not least, this survey is intended to find out what you (the customer) want from Motorcycle gear in both motor racing and out on the street. As a customer of Qmoto myself, I intend to have the best gear at the right price to maintain my limbs and organs. So please take the time to answer these questions in order to help Qmoto to provide the best possible motorcycle gear for our protective enjoyment

Download the attached word document and email/pm me when you've finished

Don’t forget to provide a contact name and email to enter the draw for a pair of brand new QMOTO KNOX SPS Racing gloves.
Prize Drawn on 1st December

Cheers folks...as mentioned, Quasi was kind enough to allow me to use Qmoto as the sponsoring business for my research paper at uni...this is to basically test my business knowledge in a real world environment.

As a result, the more people who fill this out for me to analyze and report on the more accurate the results are...and this information will be passed on to the sponsoring company to help with future business decisions should Quasi choose to do so:)

benefits for everyone filling the survey are...if your really serious about good protective gear, then here's your chance to say what you really think...what you value most and what you want from a local company willing to listen...AS WELL AS THE CHANCE TO WIN A PRIZE:2thumbsup

so help me get my degree, help Quasi know your needs and wants collectively and get the gear YOU want because YOU asked for it:eek:

Thats interesting, certainly the older products are not up to the spec as the newer ones, what age is the gear you have.
I think you would be surprised with the new stuff and welcome you to have a look.

The Pastor

I think you might be surpirsed when you dont buy budget gear.

Please dont misunderstand Qmoto gear is a great product - in the bargin sector.

I have crashed (low speed tho) and they saved my skin (well most of it:P)

The gloves ive seen are pretty spot on, i think they can rival the best out there and are way cheap.

What I dont like about Qmoto gear.

The quality of the zips/bits holding the zips on.
The internal liner
the style
the fit - and Quasi fitted me himself.
Comfort (mainly due to the bad fit)

You asked what I think (justified or not) and you got it. Please dont think this is personal etc like you have done in the past (but they useally start off with "qmoto/quasi is a [insert personal attact here]"

Quasi - I do not know/care what i currently have I got a 2pc set off you on sale in greenlane you rented a motel. I have seen your new stock but i am not really impressed.

That would be about 3 years ago, so old styles and not the same in any way to the new gear. Generic comments arent really relevant if you only have the first generation gear.
Yes the question was asked for the survey between Author and Flux, but online but publicly if that's what you want to do........for what ever reason

so cos its old your brand quality doesn't count? Cool cleared up a question I had.

Not at all, but it seemed your comments where generic, and you cannot compare the old spec to the new spec, it would be like comparing a old model gixxer to the new one, i.e if I had a 2005 GSXR and said generically I dont like the gear boxes in Suzuki's or the exhaust pipes on Suzukis would be silly as they have changed the models specification since then eh.
As we have at Qmoto.
But with your above comment it seems you have a attitude in you so sorry for that, if maybe you raised "the issue" with me personally I could have attended to it for you.

but good luck

its a dig.

How long do you need to be around to be "proven"?
How many "issue free" crashes does your brand need to have before its proven, QMOTO has over 100

p.s I bet the Qmoto jackets has a better specification than almost anything you can find in the market, Especially next month with the new stuff, stay tuned.

well, if you want to talk bike gear (which my first post is not totally about)

For the MX gloves I recently brought (Alpinestasr Jet Gloves)
I liked their feel on my hands, as that is what I am after.
I liked the fact that they have a re-enforced palm
I liked the easy way you can take them off and on, with one a protrouding strap.
I have heard good things about alpinestars gear, from many people.
The Alpinestars boots and Gloves I have (road) have been great.

does that answer your question?

just a reminder chaps this thread was set up to gather collated information on what bikers want from motorcycle gear and not a slagging match...

what carver is talking about is called heuristics, basically a fancy word for describing triggers in a persons mind about a product (which requires more extensive decision making) that make it a less extensive purchase decision

carver has different heuristics when it comes to purchasing leathers than say myself...but he'l come around:confused:

no need for a battle royale though i've got all the information i need for a good report

haven't done the draw yet since my bike got blown over and the van is in the shop so just organising a good time to zip over to quasi's and do this:) my fault being a little unorganised...sorry folks...will be doing it this arvo...video up later today:)

It took long enough to load the draw onto youtube with my internet connection however...I sware that everyone who filled in a survey online, had their contact details and name copy pasted into a new word document which was then printed out and individually separated into strips of paper...along with the respondents from the LOR pub meeting...placed into a plastic bag from pak n save...transported by motorcycle (in the rain) to Quasi's house...placed in the Rossi helmet and then shuffled and a winner was drawn:P

was very tempting to cut just before the draw and put a had on or change tshirts then keep going as a joke but then again...it stirs to much shit:P

for the smart arses out there, these gloves only protect hands and wrists...if you wish however, to protect your ass with these gloves you can cup your ass in your hands (unless your ass is to fat) thus providing them with the same level of protection your hands receive from the gloves:)
