Well I am hammering this ACC thing as some of you will be aware. I am steely cold angry about what is happening at the moment, and am not above sending email etc.

Today I have received an email from John Key no less! It appears I am now on his "friends list" :killingme

Anyone else got one?

For the record though, once upon a time I was very active in another movement close to my heart. Helen Clarke was the Minister of Health at the time. I used to receive email from her office too. Eventualy I had to send a serious notice to cease and desist sending me propaganda :sunny:

When I started writing to all the National MPs about my annoyance at the ACC levy increase, in every letter I asked to be removed from the M.P.s email list, citing the anti spam laws.

This of course meant instead of simply forwarding me the standard reply, the office staff had to search through the email list to remove me.

I figured I may as well give them a few minutes to think about what I was saying.

The best bit of course, was that their search was fruitless... I was never on their email lists to begin with.

I'm a Facebook friend of John Key's - I used it to badger (and ferret) him with questions about why ACC were discrimation and so on.

I get all his updates now. I can't block him cos he might say something about ACC that I need to see.
