In the UK The "Spurs" Goalkeeper has had an accident on his BMW but his Bosses did not know he even owned\rode a bike and could possibly be in breach of his contract by participating in "anti-social Behaviour"
I bet that comment makes him feel loads better lying in his hospital bed !!

How would your boss react ?

He wouldn't worry about it to much,,,we have acc.

As to the Spurs goal keeper,,,a lot of pro teams have clauses about things like motorcycles, sky diving ect ect,Spurs must of not done this so their now
simply looking for another excuse to get rid of the guy.

With the sort of money at stake in sports like this I think Spurs have every right to be well pissed with the guy.

My boss would freak out a bit because I'm a specialist in my role and it's not something that anyone can just walk into and do. Having said that though, there are enough contingencies prepared at work should something like that happen and the place would certainly not fall over without me (just stumble for a bit then carry on).

Apart from that ... yeah, what JohnC said.

Yep, no-one is irreplacable in their job, some are just a lot more inconvenient to lose than others.

Hey, he plays for Spurs, now thats anti-social behavior.

I don't know how my boss would react but he knows I ride a bike.

If there was a clause to the effect, is there any 'activity' or some such word that may cause you to be unable to play etc that (name of club) we are not aware of etc bla bla bla.

The said goalkeeper may be in breach of contract. The other party have a right to know if any activity or lifestyle may cause injury. If that was deliberatly withheld...................there may be a case to answer.

Or it could be much simpler. A clause in the contract forbidding the riding of motor bikes.
