sentencing is in line with the risk he posed to other road users, surely you would rather a 2 ton bently crash into you than a 200kg motorbike
wouldn't you?

In the UK it would probably cost more to insure the Hyabusa than the Bentley. The Bentley driver is obviously some sort of cheapskate so they let him off for being underprivileged.

if you read the comments there were some significant differences between the cases

mainly the biker was charged with dangerous driving, whereas the driver was only in trouble for the speeding (apparently the biker was speeding on a single carriageway - which i presume means one lane each way - and overtaking on blind corners etc)

seems its not just mainstream media that likes to slant things to their liking

He might have avoided jail if he had dropped his attitude.

No charge for the policeman chasing at that speed, despite his holier than thou attitude. So, can't have been attitude..

Gosh, who wrote that article, it's quite poorly written. Some sentences I had to re-read a couple of times to get what it was trying to say!

Yikes, biker boy sounded like a bit of a handful then didn't he? If you get caught then its your own stupid fault.
