Now, having ridden one of these for a while in my youth, I know what the chassis is like on them. Rather deceptive actually, as it felt like there was a hinge in the middle of the frame but I could not for the life of me see where Suzuki had put it. All bearings in the chassis (incl wheels) where fine and the chassis was straight, but when pushed it really didn't inspire great levels of confidence...

So to whoever wins this auction, and if it does ever end up working on an Impulse I wish you good luck. Rather you than me.

(Actually, I'd probably take it for a quick strop but I'd be oh so weary.)

AT 7.5 POUND OF BOOST IT ONLY MAKES THE IMPULSE THE EQUIVALENT OF 600CC, TO GET REAL PERFORMANCE THE COMP RATIO WILL HAVE TO BE DROPED OR IT WONT RUN ON PUMP GAS.
ID RATHER PUT THAT MONEY TOWARDS GOOD EXHAUST OR NEW BIKE

Yes I realised it wouldn't make earth-shattering horsepower, but even the standard engine is too much for the chassis (which was the point I was trying to make) so a turbo'd one will simply overpower the it.

A turbocharged impulse...

I saw one racing years ago - it lasted a couple of laps and grenaded...
The Impulse is a fun thrashbike, but with a turbo, it would be a grenade with the pin pulled, and still make less power than a tweaked FZR400, which also goes around corners better too.
