Biker Camaradarie is a term we hear all the time. Bikers supporting bikers, helping them out. We look after our own. Today I was party to this special experience in a weird and wacky way
Stopped in at Caltex - Fanshaw St to fuel up on our way to Mission Bay. I wander in to pay for the gas. There was another biker at the pumps alongside that I had already nodded at (as you do) standing at the counter to pay for his gas. Out of the corner of my eye I can see there is a problem. Prentending there is nothing going on I simply go to pay for my purchases. Then I hear a voice asking "excuse me, can I borrow your hand?"
Never been asked that before to be fair. This guy could not reach around ( sorry) to the back pocket of his pants (where his wallet was) while wearing his root (Rain Suit for the uninitiated). He wanted me to help him extract it. Of course I can do that. So, I extracted his wallet for him.
Not everyday you get to grope a complete strangers bum at a petrol station afterall :sunny:
The looks on the cashiers faces, and the poorly disguised laughter was a sight to behold.
I did talk to him at Mission Bay. Nice to meet you!
Nice buns too btw
So helping other bikers, what can you share?

I'm sure he was very grateful - but are you sure the laughter wasn't because he had already paid :buggerd:

Hi Mom, There seems to be a peculiar bottom groping theme going on with our mission bay experience today. With TOTO's post involving a tactile derriere.

Was that to get the big fat wallet outta his ONE pocket? Or you needed to stick both hands down his trousers to feel which pocket the wallet was in? ;)

I stopped to help a broken down biker once. Ended up pushing his bike about 1 km to the nearest house and giving him a pillion ride home.
He thanked me enough but was trembling a bit when he got off... no idea why??

Mom! I should be shocked, butt I'm not.On ya Annie, it was the only thing to do wasn't it and I bet the laughter got much louder when you two had left the shop, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying here! The mental pic of Mom with her hand in the pocket of a large unknown bikie is just too much.
Worse the complete look of innocence as Mom says, "what" when the laughter started is making this even better, oh thank you Mom for a wonderful giggle.
You're priceless you are.An I'd follow you to hell an back as protest ride leader.

Yeah, well I have to admit I already had a grin on my face as I talked to a couple of other bikers parked up outside the servo when I went into pay. This maybe 7:20am on a really wet and crap Sunday in Auckland. I asked if they were coming to brunch and they said yes :D So you can see the grin from here eh. I love that sort of stuff.

Have I given a biker a reach around when he has his root on? No, I can't say that I have.
