I'm beginning to wonder if the leaders of National aren't making an effort to sample the heady taste of political suicide well ahead of the next elections.
The anti-smacking referendum was ignored.
The biker protest got a lame response....'It's ACC not us'.
And now we have the Climate Change Bill and the patent suck-up to Maori.
On NewsTalk ZB tonight, Smith got roasted, then Fran O'Sullivan came on and went on about an unprecedented trammeling (by The Nats) of the rules of reasonable governance.
Larry Williams asked her, at the end, if this was going to be the first serious National train-wreck given that ACT has pulled support for the CT bill.
She provided a declaratory yes!
And so, it seems to me we have an unprecedented opportunity to ramp up the pressure on the Nats. But, to do so we need to be in and stay in their faces.
So roll on the 29th.
I wonder which Westfield Mall(s) will be visited?
The answer will be broadcast here, I gather, at 6am. Sunday 29th November. More on this in the post entitled Westfield Mall.
