Go to this site. http://www.national.org.nz/events/displayevent.aspx?EventId=1623

You will notice that the convenor, one Kanwaljit Singh Bashi, request an RSVP.

So get to it folks. A free party and a chance to scare the shit out of some back-bench National layabout.

Just RSVP asserting, 'Yes. I shall be there. Regards Pissed off Biker.'

Imagine a few thousand such RSVPs arriving. Hell. They'll have to get in more finger-food and Chardonnay!

And that should get a sweat working inside Kanwaljit's turban.

Can anyone else see the mistake or is it because I was a printer 10 years ago??

I'll go if I can but I'm not going to say I'm a biker, just say "thankyou for the invite".

Wat is Bil Ingish'es take on the ACC, anyone no. (sp: good enough for the Gummint)

Members only. Selfish bastards.

But, Novatel, that's at the racetrack

LOTS of bike parking there .

LOTS of room for protesting bikers to be seen

A definate starter I think

We need a calendar to keep track of all these opportunities.

Can we make a sticky link to their own website calendar page. They keep it up to date for us, and we can view it with filters by region so only need to look at things in our riding range.

Also worth noting that those open to the general public may all of a sudden become 'members only' as has happened here in Wellington.

If open to the public become members only, even better publicity. Just print out the website as of now and come to the meeting and say, it says on here .... and let them through you out with media present. works in our favor.

I suggest that everyone register via the National Party website (http://www.national.org.nz/About/welcome.aspx) for weekly updates of events happening in their home electorate.

Just pick you electorate from the dropdown on the left and then choose the option (just below the name of your electorate) to be advised of events in your area. That will both inform us of events to visit and warn them that we are stepping up the campaign :bash:

Wrong, we got rid of the clowns running the country. I dont agree with absolutely everything National has done ( incl the unfair acc levies on motorcyclists and employers ) but they are not losing my vote on a single issue.
We would all do well to remember that Government coffers are not a bottomless pit and here in NZ we have a badly distorted ratio of taxpayers to recipients. Reality!

See my post (#17) above and use National's website (http://www.national.org.nz/About/welcome.aspx) to update yourself on their upcoming events.
It is also worth using the Ministerial Portfolios, National Party MP & Electorate dropdown tabs on the left to focus on where particular events of interest are occurring :shifty:

Come on KBers' lets see some interest here on this one. Plenty of noise outside their Xmas party and make it a party for them to remember. Being a Sunday evening we should be able to get heaps of bikes along (you would think)

My apologies if this is already being discussed somewhere. The Wairarapa Nats are having their Xmas party in Carterton on Sunday late afternoon 13 December. Details here: http://www.national.org.nz/events/displayevent.aspx?EventId=1609

There is a group of us from Wellington going over. The venue is a bit vague though. It just says Lounge Bar, High St, Carterton. Anyone local able to help out? There is a Lounge Wine & Tapa Bar in High St - probably not that though.

This function is still open to the General Public so lets get in there. Nicely of course!!!!!!!

Maybe give Trish a call about a group booking ? Good chance to chat with Tony Ryall about how the privatisation of ACC would impact on NZ's health system, and at $25/head you're a paying guest who they would have difficulty ejecting unless you were really obnoxious :finger::puke::kick:
