Dude, you're an egg.

A temporary break is what it is IF you're a biker. If not, well and good.

But it is a bit rude to advertise to potential thieves where they can find your once beloved Hornet.

They're just looking out for you, think of the upside dude, when you shift out, you have a car that is worth a bit, you can sell it and get yourself something nice. With 2 less wheels perhaps...

Hmmm, not sure how long you've been in NZ, but here it's traditional to tell your parents that you hate them and will never forgive them when this sort of thing happens.

How long did you have your hornet for? Sounds like you really liked your bike, do you have any friends who ride? If you do, make sure you keep in practice :)

Mate out of all respect, and im only going to post once.

At your age (same age as me) I think its fairly right for you to lead your own life to an extent, yes your parents care for your safety but come to an agreement that to show their true love they should allow you to ride a motorcycle. Its what makes you happy and they should want you to be happy, no? Dont lead a sheltered life, lead your own with the guidance of your parents, not instructions of parents.

Just because you are in an asian family doesent mean its socially and traditionally acceptable for your parents to rob you of your freedom, dont let anyone take that away from you, no one.

Start doing drugs and home and leaving gay porn all over the house. When your parents start throwing a fit - tell them you only discoved 'the lifestyle' after you didnt need to keep 'sober' for riding a bike.

They will have you back on 2 wheels in a few hours.

Obv having been a Hornet owner - you will keep the gay porn, but at least you can stop with the drugs.

When the kids are living with me - its "my house, my rules - dont like it - Fuck off"

Having said that - I rock and the kids wont fucken leave.

Not to worry, the lil'ol'hornet you had forgives you and won't hold it against you! Now for the passing parade of cliche homilies, like the sand in a hourglass each grain will bring you closer to another bike you can ride again, the one you set free was yours for that time and time ... can do so much ...

So as you cast yourself to the wide sagrasso sea of life, who knows what the tide will bring in? Another day, another bike ...

And the best part is you parted on such sweet sorrow with your first bike, you will treasure that memory and hold onto it, to let it pupate in your heart and then when you finally have your own to ride as you wish, when you wish and how you wish ... its all water under the bridge ...

So bide with me ye lonesome soul, wile away those days, till once again the revving sounds come again, over the hills and far away!

Long live your lil'ol'hornet! May it serve its new rider well in the spirit you took and gave it in! :headbang:
