Been using my bike for commuting and in traffic queues I'll often pass all the cars and sit at the front at a red light or just overtake everyone till I get to the intersection or green light. I don't do it all the time, just when it looks okay.
Today I slid up the side of a line of cars to a red light and kind of straddled the lanes between the vehicles going straight ahead and those turning right. Then noticed a cop car on the other side of the lights - thought I wonder if I'll get away with this and I did, but...
Any productive advice/insight would be cool thanks.:2thumbsup

Lane spliting is illegal, BUT in saying that depends on the copper.. like anything... what you did I would say they ignore... its on the motorway cause cages don't look in the rear mirror :argh:

Note quite as black and white as that Rocketgal.
The legal section of the Wiki has lots of info on Lane Splitting and Filtering - and how to do it legally.
