Gee, how many virginities can one person have? And what one am I on now?

You have to admit though, for him, God is big business, geez, he has eftpos terminals at the door of the church on Sunday services for 'donations' to enter the kingdom of God. Thats some smart thinking, prey on the people who have insecurities about themselves. I'm sold...to someone else!

Get a couple of :drinknsin in him and he will be :puke: in no time and fall into the clutches of the :devil2:

Oh yes! Amen, It's a miracle brother! Good ol' Benny Hinn! Once saw him do the whole hand near the face thing, what, no fall down? Try again, yet, no fall down, so he leans in, whispers something to the 7 YEAR OLD, and then hand once again and falls down this time.

Once heard Tamaki say that all other churches are on hills, and his is on the highest mountain. And only those that are on the highest mountains will have people allowed into heaven.

I wonder...do you think if I went to Tamaki. God would come back to me considering I was told I got abandoned by God...

When I first saw "Benny Hinn" advertised in the paper about 5 years ago I misread it as "Benny Hill", and got up at 4am so I could have a bit of an old fashioned laugh.

I have to say that I was slightly disappointed.

My daughter bought me the 'Pool Room Edition DVD' for Christmas.

In a lovely flock case are the DVD, the words and music to 'We're goin' to Bonnie Doon', the pedigree for 'Son of Coco', the cuttings of the best 25 trading post bargains ever and a reproduction of 'Trace's Diploma of Hairdressing'.

Ahh the serenity.

Some of my Kiwi mates can't pick up on the genius of this film - I think they can't get past the accents - thank you guys for sharing it with me.

The funniest thing about this wanker (Brian T) is that at least one of his daughters fell pregnant during high school and he forced her to marry the father. (my partners best mate grew up in Rotovegas where he and his family started their "cult")

yes - i find his smug, insincere "style" utterly vaccuous.
he's an out-of-touch wanker.
i always liken people who regard themselves a celebrity in NZ to small town beauty queens.

and i'm pretty amused he has managed to take very few viewers to prime.
Prime are cool however - as the do play the GP.
we like Prime, but Holme's resignation from public life is overdue.

Prime have overestimated the desire and ability of Holmes' core viewer demographic to change the channel from 1. You'll break it if you do that you know.

I've never been able to watch him. I always feel like I'm having a series of focal seizures because of his staccato delivery.

Two fascinating comments from the head of Prime TV at a Business Roundtable meeting unfortunately not in the same context (I think);
1/ He was disappointed in the ratings Holmes has achieved.
2/ A section of his speech dealing with the difficulties of getting rid of under-performing staff.

Never watch the septic dwarf.... Didn't like him from that first session with Dennis Conner, never gave him a second chance after that... You might not like mr Conner but he got his rep from actually DOING something, not just talking about it. That little prick was just plain rude on purpose to make a name for himself... As childish as spitting on the pavement. No bloody respect.

Getting back to Tamaki, maybe to you and me he's is a slimy halfwit, but you have to admit there is method in his madness - lots of big toys paid for by others. And if you pay any attention to American politics, the "christian" conservatives have snapped up most of the power and control (and are going full on for the remainder, too. Tamaki no doubt has that in mind for NZ.

Could not agree more...

There are a lot of disenchanted people out there that have not made the step up to independent thinking or seem to be feeling threatened by the modern world. (Not having a go at religion here guys - your choice, just as long as it is a choice)

These so called 'Strong Leaders' exert a lot of appeal to these people and often supply them with a doctrine or belief system that they can chant loudly with their fingers in their ears and their eyses closed while hoping the real world goes away (or the leader blows it up while they are not actually looking)

Mr Tamaki has quite rightly decided that now is a good time for him to be stepping up.

The only question is can he achieve critical mass (and control) before his enevitable fall from grace. He is playing a dangerous game but I think the stakes are high enough for him to be keen.

Personally... I don't think he is quite clever enough. While he appears impressive to some people, anyone that has been exposed to the high level snake oil salesmen most pollies or corporates trot out find him a crude orator with inappropriate dress sense. If he ever employs a really good spin doctor, a fashion consultant and takes speaking lessons... Look out!

thats actually his brother's (one of?) shop. He seems to wear the suits though at regular intervals (goodness knows why, some of those colours are unbeleiveable).

On another note....

Would people PLEASE stop bleeting on about 'I can't stand people who tell me how to live my life yadda yadda'!! People everywhere are telling you how to live your life, its just that some of them happen to offend your world views while they're at it. The Gubmint, Tamaki, TV ads, newspapers... the entire media industry is coming out with messages of 'this is acceptable and thats not'.
Stop pretending thats your excuse for not liking the guy.
