Being Auckland, first you have to have an underage booze up with a hole bunch of 17 year olds. You can't go into town until at least 1am, because no-one else will be there.
But if you wanted something worthwhile, why not try the Classic Comedy bar on Queen Street for an eight o'clock comedy show, that should see you through to about 10-11.

im just asking whats fun in auckland on a saturday night. I'm different. dancing in a club isnt my thing.
Fair enough - do you like strip joints? Pool halls? Vulcan lane for diner, then a nice Irish bar for a few drinks, couple of games of pool in pool hall, then a bit of fun at Mermaids - then..... well depends if your lucky or not
I don't get up to things like that however, just watching TV tonight and might get the guitar out.

There's a couple of good bars in Newmarket if you're any good at pool.
Or it you aren't any good at pool, hit the bar hard first, then you'll suddenly be magically good at pool. ;)

I love Japanese so 'Nori' in Parnell is good or 'Sake Bar' - in Greenlane is good for atmosphere and not far away from New Market

Been there, wasn't terribly impressed. But thanks!
Speaking of pool, I'd say that my ability at pool is proportionally inverse to my sobriety. Lucky I've been mixing G+Ts since 4:30 I guess.

Not superbikes but MotoGP. Not sure which race, but seeing Rossi and Lorenzo "duke" it out for the last few laps was amazing. Not sure what Rossi was doing with the leg out and foot on the ground manoeuvre, but he managed to pip Lorenzo on the last turn of the last lap to win. Brilliant racing.
