Stock Muffler '08 CRF450X

Does anyone know if I can just bang the baffle/spark arrestor out of the stock Muffler on my '08 CRF450X???

I pulled the end off the can and it seems like it should come out pretty easy, but I gave it a few gentle taps and it didn't budge, just worried it might be welded in there and if I get too enthusiastic I might bust something.....

I'm guessing there's gotta be someone out there that's already done this???

i dont know about how exactly to do it, but i know it can be done and theres serious gains to be had by doing so!

Might run it down to the nearest Honda shop and see what they reckon....

Buy a FMF they Sound way nicer, Pretty sure spark arrestor is welded in with 3 tacs.
