No idea - it's not on a bike though as we only get 5 letters/numbers to play with. That pisses me off with personalised plates too - bike plates cost the same as cars but get less to play with and only one plate.

Probably owned by Nick Smith .......

A personalised plate does not have to be affixed to a vehicle for you to own it. I have two sets of plates that are not fixed to vehicles.
I have three sets of plates, FUN KIT, JUNK IT, JUNK 1T.
I only have one vehicle on the road. You own the plate for life, or till you on sell it. AND there is a change of ownership fee for personalised plates.
Selling a vehicle with a plate affixed does not change the ownership of the plate , just the vehicles ownership.
I just wish you could use 6 didget plates on motor bikes.

I just tried for FKACC:devil2: and this is what I got

The plate you submitted cannot be released for sale - Please try again.:nono:

Personalised plates have a high public profile and are on view permanently.
We are required by the government not to sell plates that could cause
offense to the wider public community.:baby:

My memory is hazy but I'm pretty sure that the same guy also had IRDSUX and GSTSUX plates.

I'm fairly sure that ACC got the Land Transport Authority to revoke the plates, which is why the story came to the attention of the NZ media.

But as I said, my memory is hazy.

Yep, it is. The plates in question were IH8ACC and IH8IRD.
My memory is a bit hazy, too, coz I have no recollection of the GST plate, and withdrawal of that would have made no sense - the others were withdrawn for being "threatening"...

It probably would have been, if they lost the case ... they didn't ... and I imaginge, costs would have been awarded.
