what is required is an independent body to go in and root out the real agenda going on here with the Govt. and Mr Judge.
We need more lawyers to state that ACC is not financially in trouble...

Nooooo, what is required is that some "impartial" analysts get in to have a crack at the ACC database... I'D LOVE TO DO IT!

That is one of the best media items about the levies yet. Why they haven't run with the workers levy raise I have no idea.
The gentleman from the Employers Association can, if I may be so bold, go blow it out his bum.

Perhaps someone wants to contact Peter townsend, chief exec of the canterbury employers chamber of commerce , and put him straight on whats actually happening in ACC, it seems he has not been given the real figures, only read the ACC news paper add....
we need to try to turn these supports of the hikes around - get them on side by giving them the facts!

I was present at the select committee hearing on the ACC bill about a week ago when Bizzo NZ presented. Labour asked directly if they supported privatisation of the current scheme. They categorically stated NO :shifty:- only that they thought the scheme needed a major revamp with significant alterations, there was further elaboration in mumbling tones and jargon that I was unable to decipher.
Aaah - as per above link it appears they support options from private co's not for the State to privatise. Yay
