2010 Suzuki pricing?

Anyone know what the dollar's done to the '10 pricing ? I'm looking at the GSXR-1000 or a Hayabusa, the 2010 model's ....Can't get an answer out of my local Suzuki shop as the manager was'nt there, priced an '09 ZX14 at 25K new today ( Wow ) so ......that's out of the question..........Anyone know what the pricing trend is ?? Was told today from my local Suzuki dealer the L10 Hayabusa is retailing for the same price as this years K9, $19,995 , expecting a price rise for the L11 model ( same bike, different graphics) to be a couple of G's. Strong Dollar's a factor for sure and I can guess that Suzuki NZ employ some type of 'Futures marketing' model to keep the prices attractive. Knock yourself out, don't know about the GSXR1000 however, that's a bike that has R&D expenses ongoing, unlike the Busa ....which was the dogs bollocks from day one.

Though, I'm still not sure about that back end on the G2's ...I guess it's a case of Function over form........:soon:

I would do a shop around. When I bought the SV, I went to 3 bike shops, Colemans, Haldanes, and Mr Motorcycles. For the same bike with the same extras, Tail tidy, Yoshis, Rear seat cowl, I got 3 Vastly different prices. The cheapest was Haldanes with $11,200. The next was Mr Motorcycles with $11,500, and for thier best cash price Colemans $12,500. Both Haldanes and Colemans had bikes in stock, MR Motorcycles had to get one. I went with Mr Motorcycles, bacause they were close to me, and I was impressed with the service, and the fact that they were only $300 dearer and they had to buy a bike in.

It is a buyers market out there, go shopping and get the best deal for you. Don't be afraid to ask. The small shops will quite often be happy with the smaller margins in profit, due to lower overheads, than the big shops.
