Hey guys
My 92 ZXR250 wouldn't start today and after turning it over a number of times i decided to clutch start it down the road, it fired straight away but the rev counter started reading all crazy, like way round on 18000rpm when it would be lucky to be doing 6000rpm, it was idling at 6000rpm (actually probably only 2000rpm or less). I took it for a ride and after 15min of riding it came right but then i stopped the bike for 40 min or so and when I got back on it away it went again doing its stupid thing. Any ideas guys? Cheers.

When the battery is flat it will read like that.

Those posters are onto it.

If you think the battery is getting a bit shagged, replace it, those ZXR250s don't suffer sad ones
