So are you asking for advise as to what to buy or are you asking if there is a second hand helmet on offer somewhere ???.

Go to a shop and just try any on and find one that fits your head and is in your price range. Any reputable shop around can sell you a bike with a few good standards to its name.

Paul.

Go to Motomail in Ponsonby - downstairs is their discount shop.

For a cheap helmet the best place I found was Botany Honda. They've got HJC helmets from about 150 up.

Bullshit!

I've only ever had one bike accident and it was on a scooter.
Car in front stopped and I didn't.
Scooter front wheel ended up under the car, and I landed on the boot with my face making contact with the roof.
Cracked the enamel in my front teeth, and cos I'm old now front tooth is now broken.

Get yourself a NEW good fitting FULL FACE helmet.
