Hi All.
I have just arrived back from CHCH after attending a funeral at short notice.

I went down on the 3am sailing with Bluebridge on Wednesday.
About 1/2 hour into the sailing I was having a coffee and was joined by several crew members and a couple of truckies.

Asked if I had taken part in the Bikoi.

The guys were sayin that when we came over for the bikoi, someone got talking to them about the "WHO'S NEXT" phrase and went to great pains to explain to them what was happening and was handing out flyers.

At first they thought it was a put on but one of the crew was so concerned that he contacted the Union and had everything confirmed.

They are not amused.

Truckie said almost the same thing.

Bluebridge crew were also impressed with our behaviour. They would welcome us at any stage and we have their full support.

If we were to stage a repeat BIKOI, they want to be there as well.

MASSIVE THUMBS UP TO WHOEVER IT WAS THAT SPOKE TO THEM.

Excellent news!!
It just goes to show that talking to the ordinary man in the street is an important part of our overall approach.
Keep it up, all of you!

It is good to hear that others are taking notice- it is time to join forces with other groups to fight theses changes we are not being heard- Approx 1200 bikes protest in chch, blocking main highway into city & barely mentioned.
