Hope you have better luck than I did this evening. Standing on my own in Newmarket, in the pissing rain, waiting for the winner of the "Ugliest Baby Competition", also known as "The dancing Fool"to turn up at a Chinese restaurant.
What the fuck happened to the protest then?
Where were the guys who are always shouting about targeting the minor parties?
FFS.

I believe the heirachy did not give the nod, so I never expected anyone there. These things need to be approved really.
Maybe Xmas parties are not our style?

APPROVAL!?
Who's in charge? I get the feeling that no one at the top wants to stick their heads out (and fair enough to them). It seems to me that if you hear of something then it is your responsibility as a biker to start a thread to bring it to everyones attention.
Hold on am i allowed to post this before running it past the commitee?:shit:

Erm, apologies for the rant, too many beers and maybe a bit of sun from the toy run.

Good example of poor communication :( But a good opportunity to suggest upgrading your KB Friends list with local contacts so it can then be used to build a communication network which can be used to quickly and efficiently spread the word of upcoming protest actions, and if some of those friends then email/text their non-KB buddies all the better :mobile:
This also has the advantage of keeping such events 'under the radar' as well as giving them more reliable exposure than just posting them in the jungle of threads that the ACC campaign has become. And in sharing 'friends of friends' you might just meet some new biking buddies in the process :scooter::scooter::scooter:
