Is anyone in Government interested?
Over the last few years there have been massive dollars spent on Road Safety advertising and 2010 looks like another great year of expenditure.
March 2009 they were looking at cutting this funding by 50 million dollars, gives you some idea how much we're talking about.

We've all seen this character Intersection Grim reaper (http://www.infonews.co.nz/news.cfm?l=1&t=0&id=37165)
So 2010 key objectives are;
The strategy’s key priority areas for action involve:
- engineering safer roads
- reducing speed
- combating drink–driving
- dealing with serious offenders
- encouraging the use of safety belts
- improving safety for pedestrians and cyclists
- improving the vehicle fleet
- new and better targeted education initiatives.

Their happy to take your money, yet do little to even look at the problem!
Ponder this, If it really was such a hugh concern then wouldn't there have been more focus on it here too?
