Bike ergonomics, customising rear sets, seat, clipons etc

I'm wanting to do a bit of custom work on my Bros 650, seat height, rear sets, clip ons, basically rider position stuff. Does anyone know how to work out the correct position for a given set of anthropometrics?

I have never had a formula...Just tackled items of discomfort in a methodical manner....Sore knee...lower and further back pegs..Rears sets. Too much weight on wrists....higher bars. Poor rear vision...Bar ends. Numbum...Gel seat. Cold hands...heated grips. Etc,etc....

Well there's a can of worms. It depends on what you are starting with, where you want to go & how big you are compared to the bike.

With my racebikes I've always worked on the premise that you will be seated as close to the tank as possible in a race stance. If you look at any GP bikes (from the real classes like 250s) you could place your hand at the front of the seat & the pegs will be directly below your knuckles. Any further forward will require higher bars. Make them as low as can until they scrape.

From there you're on your own as to where you put the bars, but don't do silly things like angle the seat steeply or it will be uncomfortable.

Anyone tried and can recommend high rise clipons to suit gsxr1000. At 60 odd, I'm thinking I could make the bike a little more comfortable. I don't want to change bikes ,as this one does everything great.
F1 engineering in Hamilton make them to suit,(those are about 40mm higher), just wondered if anyone has something they recommend. Gaz.

I've bought F1 handle bar risers (for a big suzi with the insert type bars). His stuff is quite expensive but you can see the quality & wouldn't regret it.

Ta, Steve quotes at 370 bucks, doesn't seem bad ? I did see some multi adjustables jobbies in a mag , I'll see if I can dig it out. G.

I also have some erm, either Tommeselli or Domino adjustables that are ok.
