Hey All,
Mr CSL and I are riding south to celebrate New Years with the whanau at our family crib near Dunedin.

27th Dec: cross over to Picton and want to ride Queen Charlotte Drive to Nelson (stop in and visit a friend) and then onto Reefton to stay o/n with another friend.

28th Dec: through as far as Christchurch (stay with family).

29th Dec: through to Dunedin (stay with family).

29th Dec - 2nd Jan: Party :drinknsin:woohoo: party :wari::drinkup: paty :yeah::banana: party...

3rd Jan: back up as far as Christchurch (stay with family).

4th Jan: Christchurch to Picton and back home.

I'm sure you're all busying holidaying yourselves but if you'd like to keep a couple of riders having a bit of a pootle down the island company for a bit of our journey that would be grand. :yes:

Thanks! We'll definitely be taking a break there because I have some old friends there. We'll be through Ommas on the 29th Dec and then again on the 3rd Jan.

We did a short pack and practice ride today, I was glad we did cos in the end my tie downs have ended up being a sophisticated but secure combination!

We're on the 8am ferry and both very excited!!!! It's our first big road trip together! :woohoo:

Yay! We're back and LOVED it! I'll write a bit of a ride report in a few days. We got back late the 4th Jan and have been chilling out and doing all our washing since then! Sorry we didn't get to catch up with any Kiwibikers - next time!
