Are there any more track days scheduled in the South Island this summer? I've had a look at the Canterbury, Otago and Southland club calendars and they're all looking a bit bleak :(

Another option is to rock up to Ruapuna on a friday afternoon ,think its about 50 bucks ,alternating 20 min sessions with the cages, more riding than you'll ever get at a trackday.
I think its also not limited to just a friday, and for 5 hundy a year you get unlimited use of the track

That is a CAMS meeting and I am pretty sure they don't have a class for trackday riders. I may be wrong however.

The southland motorcycle club usually has a class for trackday riders, they have meetings on the 14th of Feb and 18th of April

There are several training days at Ruapuna through the summer - limited to 30 riders, up to 5 instructors including Supersport champion Dennis Charlett and the chance to take your riding to another level in a safe, controlled environment. Next one is Mon Jan 18th , straight after Rd 1 Superbike Championships at Ruapuna. Guest appearance by Andrew Stroud. Go to www.prorider.co.nz for booking and accommodation details.

Had a look at the calendar on the sccc website who owns levels. The track is booked out on the 20th March for the otago mcc. So that should be the next one there :)

Don't they run these open session practice days on a tuesday too? Was planning on rocking up this tuesday.
