can you take the back off the ignition barrel and turn the connection manually?Did it on a scooter which had a buggered barrel a couple of months back

Funny thing is the second to last time I cranked it over I didn't bother to check the fuel tap. Ended up cranking the engine over til the battery was flat then tried crash starting it about 5 times before I realised I hadn't turned the tap to ON. :niceone:
