How do I attach an L plate to the back of my CBR250?. I don't want to spend a lot of time on it as I only need it for my 6R test.

Velcro tabs form the $2 shop.
Quick and easy, plus you can just peel them off afterwards.

Is there a bolt sticking out behind the number plate? Mount it on that with a nut and you'll be set. So long as most of it is visible.

I'd just used some sellotape. Someone else said that when they'd popped theirs on just for the test, the tester commented on how new the L plate looked

Undo one of the bolts on the side of the number plate, and run it back through the number plate and l-plate, so the l-plate sticks out on a bit of an angle.

I tried that,fell off within minutes..:p
It's best to use an existing bolt around the number plate, and put it on that.

Punch a hole in it , and then cable tie / wire it to an existing hole somewher e on the back, do it tight enough it doesnt blow around too much.

+1 thats how i did it on my ninja, was able to wrap it round the rear fender, it never came off during my entire L time and at the end just snip the ties :first:

I got one of those flexible ones thats meant to stick to inside of windscreen, put it on its side & taped it on with that grey super sticky tape. has been there for 1 month now, in rain & everything

Thanks for the advice everyone. I just passed the test so I ripped the L plate off before I even left the AA.

Thick double sided tape worked well. Well done on passing.
