Theres a pretty tidy one (straight pipes out the tail) at Adrenalyn Mount Maunganui, I was gonna buy it but I need a commuter and got a mean deal on a 4stroke with low k's. might be worth checking out

Cheers man, Might have a look at that. I do like the 3ma (Reverse cylinder ones with exhausts out the rear) but in saying that I have heard that once someone fucks with them they are fucked for life. Would still prefer the 3XV version but might be an option if i cant find anything else.

yeah personally i'd go for a nsr or something.... so many tzr's have gone bang now that theres almost no bits left...
if you buy an NSR or RGV parts are east to buy new from hong kong etc... they don't bother making em for the tzr's anymore.

Yeah, I have been looking at NSR/RGV's but i just can't get past how much I like the look of the 3XV's. I just like everything about them 2x better than all the other 2 stroke sports bikes.
I've heard they ride better too

Not really, the proper V twin TZ250 GP bits bolt straight on:love:, of course rings need to be replaced very 200-25km and pistons at 400-500km, there wont be any charging system etc etc

And where would you source the TZ250 GP bits from? - They're pretty rare aren't they?

They not to hard to derestrict if you manage to get your hands on a SP model like i have, all you need then a set of new pipes and cdi off the earlier non sp 3xv. Most get in the high 50s low 60hp with that. The normal R model and you pretty much screwed with derestricting.
Im looking at selling mine in the new year, ill be putting it on here then. Keep a look out if you still looking for one:niceone:

The TSS Aprilia looks absolutely amazing. I have had my eye on that for a while considering buying an RS250 just for that purpose. Would be a long term project though considering the cost of the conversion.

Dude. Skidmark was a workshop manager at one stage, I think he knows how to put a bike together properly. :grouphug:

Pretty awesome aye ! I am in the process of a wee bit of shoping with them, 4mm stroker crank with 90degree firing and a ignition system (PVL?) to suit. That should add a bit more HP in my 30year old road bike 2thumbsup
They only have RZ cranks at the moment, but are suposed to be making LC cranks shortly, hope its sooner than later
