Just watching the live timing in China.

Straight off the trailer (so to speak) Sete clocks 332kph on the straight with no previous set up data.

Looks like Catalunya wont be the fastest track for long.

332! Fuck me that's fast :Punk:

Checa at 333.5kph on the Duc.

Funnily enough, KR Jnr and Hopkins are 2nd and 3rd fastest, despite ONLY gettin 318 on the straight.

It's got to be something. Maybe hell freezing over? How else do you explain a Sue suki in that position?

*puts on flame retardant suit and runs like hell before WT returns*

That clip just shows how much pain and suffering Sete (and Max) have had to put up with just because of Rossi. He has my sympathy.

Yeah, right! :killingme

I'll make it unamimous.

Had been thinking for a while that that scene would make an ideal animated gif. Was just too classic for words, the grin on Rossi's face said it all.

Rossi does appear down on top speed. Jeremy Burgess pointed out previously that while most tracks have just one main straight they will have some thirteen corners and the setup of Rossi's bike means he can get on the gas earlier coming out of a corner. It'll be interesting.

WTH is a Mirowaki??

And since when have they been in the GP?

Looking foward to the race tonight.

Also what the hells going on with Edwards? He's got no excuse for doing so poorly. I think they should have stuck it out with Malandri, it was always obvious that there was the potential for him to "mature" and do well this season.

Moriwaki are a tuner/performance parts maker a la Yoshimura. They've had Tohru Ukawa, ex Rossi team mate in Repsol factory team, as a test rider this season and had Andrew Pitt in a couple of races last year. I believe the RC211V V5 mill is the donor powerplant, so there's a Honda tie in somewhere.

I guess they're like the Minardi (shit, are they still around, don't follow F1 these days) of GPs.

Or maybe more like KR or WCM. And dare I say it, for fear of the wrath of King Carl, Foggy Petronas? Foggy - take a look at Mr Corser's results this year....
