20/12/2009
Fun Day meeting with the Karts.
Full nylon required. Bikes will be scrutineered.
Track open 7:30am.
Scrutineering 8:30am.
Rider Briefing 9:30am.
Practice after briefing.
Entry $45.
Spectators free.

Who's going to attend? I am going to make the best effort I can to make it. I have a leg injury that might stop me and a party the night before. If enough bucketers will turn up then I will too, I just wont be at my best.

Only a week before Taupo RRS so won't be risking crashing and having less than a week to fix. Hopefully some that want the practice or aren't going to Taupo will come out and play with you.

Don't think I will be there. The 19th is Round 1 of the Tri Series (Manfeild round) and I'll be helping Sketchy.

Round 2 is Wanganui on Boxing Day.
Round 3 is Taupo on the 27-28th

I'll be there!! :headbang:

Got new stuff that I want to try out on the Tape Worm. I'm not going to Toe-pour (Taupo:clap:) so Kaitoki is the place for me. :first:

I can fit another bike on the truck if someone needs a ride. :niceone:

Some info on what they are doing for the 20th:

This Sunday 20 December is our Christmas Funday at the track. Track direction will be clockwise, duty class is all classes so please help with setup in the morning and tidy up at the end.

The day will begin with a couple of heats for each class of 10 laps each, then it is onto the fun racing

Look out for the ladies race, mechanics race, dads race, stewards race, basically anything you think we should have a race for let us know, this is your chance as members to let those who support you have a go in a kart and enjoy the thrills of the sport.

To get the numbers up for the various races we do rely on you to bring your kart along and make it available if you can.

We would like to start the heats off around 9.00am to 9.30am so please be there for drivers briefing at 9.00am

Along with the karts get your kids to bring along there favourite non motorised mode of transport for some kids races, could be there bike, skateboard, scooter, as long as there is no motor they can race it. Watch out for the lollie scrambles etc.

At the end of the fun races there will be a BBQ luncheon/tea with desert. Cost of enrtry for the day is $18 for kart drivers and this covers the cost of your meal and he morning heats, additional tickets for the meal can be purchased for $8 per person.

This will be a great day for us to mix and mingle together, have a laugh, and enjoy the sunny summer weather on our large deck.

Bloody xmas!!!

Buying presents for people you wouldn't normally, hanging with extended family that you don't usually (because they suck!), People stressing out over menial things, Xmas carols, YUCK!!!!

Tell me again, who's idea was it to celebrate xmas, and I'll go have a stern word with them.

Do what I do - jump in the van with trailer in tow early on Christmas morning and go to Whanagnui. Sit around setting up the pit tent and shit while the bikes get scrutineered.

Sorry family - important shit to be done.

Thought I would put in a quick report. The day went OK. The wether held off although it tried to rain but it didnt. Fish Hammish Caleb and I rode. Unfortunatly Fishys bike wasnt going well handling or motor so not as closer racing as hoped for. Got the racing over to get home and get stuff ready for the break.
Was a good run to test the bike befor Taupo. I think it was going OK but we will see next week!

Yep, he was always going to ride buckets this year. I have a PB to get at Taupo on my SS. As long as I am faster than Malcolm on my RG than he is on my FXR I will be happy!

Just got my bike back together after snapping a spark plug off in the head. Went to Manfeild last friday to ride a big track before Taupo. Very different than our little kart track. Was good fun trashing the FXR. I was on the track with 600's and under, Young master sketchy was flying. I was hard to know how quick I was going coz I was dicking with the jetting so much, I didn't really get in many clean laps.

Bring on Taupo

That's one of my major fears when mucking about with my bike, breaking off a spark plug in the head or threading it, that would suck!!
